Lost Coast Naturals
00 / BEFORE YOU START

Thank you for
being part of this.

This is the first small batch of Lost Coast Naturals going out into the world. About a dozen people will test these formulas before launch, and your feedback will directly shape what comes next.

Use the products normally for about two weeks, then tell me the truth. What felt good, what didn't, what confused you, what you'd change. Honest feedback matters far more than polite feedback.

Inside the box Hydration Gel · Barrier Balm
Testing window ~2 weeks
Feedback timing Whenever thoughts come up. Earlier is better.
01 / THE ROUTINE

Simple routine. Damp skin. Gel first, balm second.

01CLEANSE

Rinse with cool water.

If possible, avoid your normal cleanser for the first few days so your skin has a neutral starting point. After that, return to your normal routine if needed, just avoid introducing anything new.

AM + PM Remove excess water with clean hands. Avoid towels before application.
02HYDRATION GEL

Apply to damp skin.

Use 2–3 pumps on damp skin and work lightly into the skin while water is still on the surface. The gel is designed to bind that water to the skin. Wait about 30 seconds before the next step.

2–3 pumps Wait ~30 sec
03BARRIER BALM

Seal it in.

Warm a small amount between fingertips and smooth lightly over the skin. Focus on cheeks, forehead, and anywhere that tends to dry out easily. The balm helps slow water loss and lock the hydration layer in place.

04KEEP IT SIMPLE

That's the full system.

During the testing window, please pause strong active products if possible: retinoids, exfoliating acids, vitamin C serums, prescription topicals, etc. If you use products outside the routine, just make a note of it.

Nothing extra Pause actives
02 / WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO

A few quick observations each day is enough.

A / FEEL

How does it feel on the skin?

Texture, absorption, weight, tackiness, dryness, comfort. The first 10 minutes after application matter most.

B / LOOK

How does your skin look over time?

Pay attention around day 3, day 7, and day 14. Consistent-lighting photos help if you're open to taking them.

C / REACTIONS

Anything unusual?

Redness, stinging, heat, irritation, breakouts, anything new or unexpected. If something feels clearly wrong, stop using the products and reach out the same day.

D / FIT

Does this realistically fit into your life?

Packaging, usability, travel, routine simplicity, application experience. Good products still fail if they don't fit naturally into daily life.

03 / FEEDBACK

The most important part.

Full Survey · ~10 min

Detailed feedback.

Detailed feedback on formulation, feel, packaging, scent, usability, and overall experience. Best completed after the full testing window.

Thank you. I'll read this today. The full survey above is still here whenever you're ready.

04 / LAST THING

Please be
honest.

The final version of these products will be shaped directly by what comes back from this group. Critical feedback is more useful than kind feedback. Don't hold back.
