Not always. Hydration Gel alone can be enough in humid weather, under sunscreen or makeup, or whenever skin stays comfortable after it absorbs. Add Barrier Balm when tightness returns or conditions are cold, dry, or windy.
Can I use either product alone?
Yes. Hydration Gel is a complete lightweight hydration step. Barrier Balm is a versatile standalone balm for the face, lips, hands, cuticles, elbows, and dry patches. The set gives you the option to use them separately or layer them together on the face.
How does this fit into my existing routine?
Apply Hydration Gel after cleansing and before sunscreen or makeup. Barrier Balm goes on last. If your routine already contains active products, introduce the two steps gradually so it is easy to tell how your skin responds.
